Studio Po – Iyengar Yoga Website Strategy & Redesign
Repositioning a yoga studio website to clearly serve both local Toronto students and a growing online audience.

Background
Studio Po Yoga, led by Stephanie, had recently undergone a visual rebrand and began rebuilding its website on Squarespace internally. While the new direction reflected the updated aesthetic of the studio, the website structure and messaging lacked clarity around the studio’s two core audiences:
Toronto-based students looking for in-person Iyengar yoga classes
Remote students interested in online classes, video content, and on-demand practice
The project required not only design and development support, but also strategic guidance around UX flow, content architecture, SEO, and platform decisions.
Challenge
The homepage mixed multiple audiences without clear direction or segmentation.
Visitors struggled to immediately understand which offerings applied to them.
Existing content lacked a conversion-focused structure and strategic hierarchy.
The studio needed guidance around integrating third-party booking software (Walla) while preserving a clean user experience.
Questions existed around SEO/AEO implications of moving blog content to Substack and handling YouTube content effectively.

We approached the project using a strategy-first framework, beginning with a full content and UX audit before development. The goal was to create a calmer, clearer, and more conversion-focused experience while preserving the visual elegance of the Studio Po brand.
