In our collaboration with La Hacienda, my primary responsibility was to establish their online presence, aiming for a visually stunning website that authentically represents their distinctive brand. Seamlessly integrating classic Western-style 'Nicaraguan Hacienda vibes' with a modern layout, we created a dynamic and attractive website.
Our approach aimed to blend vintage flavour with a contemporary touch, resulting in a visually captivating masterpiece that truly resonates with their unique brand. Skillfully incorporating custom photography, engaging animations, and captivating videos, our design mirrors Nicaragua's hacienda heritage. Captivating Visual Design: La Hacienda's website boasts a visually stunning and dynamic design, capturing the essence of Nicaragua's cowboy culture with a contemporary touch.
Custom Photography and Videos: Our team conducted comprehensive photo shoots, covering live events, team photos, food, and capturing the restaurant and rental room's interior and exterior. Additionally, a captivating short food video medley was created to enhance the visual appeal.
Interactive Menu Pages: Four dedicated menu pages showcase the diverse culinary offerings, complemented by a gallery of enticing images, providing visitors with an immersive dining experience.
Online Booking Forms: Streamlining customer interactions, we implemented two custom online forms, facilitating client inquiries and enabling direct online booking for the rental room.
Instagram Integration: The integration of an Instagram feed keeps the content fresh, providing real-time event updates and fostering a dynamic online presence.
Event Galleries: A carefully curated past event gallery showcases the vibrancy and energy of La Hacienda, featuring a rich collection of photos taken at various events.
Enhanced Squarespace Design: We extended Squarespace's capabilities by incorporating custom styles, behaviors, and animations through third-party plugins, ensuring a unique and engaging user experience.
Strategic CTA Placements: Careful consideration was given to the placement of key Calls-to-Action (CTAs), optimizing user engagement and encouraging desired actions seamlessly.
Mobile Responsiveness: The website is crafted to be fully responsive, ensuring an optimal viewing experience across various devices, including smartphones and tablets.
Multilingual Website: Catering to a global audience, the website is available in four languages, offering an inclusive experience for international visitors.
Weglot Language Switcher: With the implementation of Weglot language switcher, language-specific sub-domains were created, optimizing the website for better international SEO.
On-Page SEO and Google Integration: We meticulously implemented and optimized on-page SEO elements, coupled with Google Search Console setup, to enhance the website's visibility and ranking.
Domain Management: The setup included a primary domain and three secondary domains, two of which are country-specific, redirecting to their respective language sub-domains, ensuring a seamless and localized experience.

Meet Lucien and Charlotte, originally hailing from Holland, who recently took ownership of a charming local restaurant nestled in the heart of Granada. Investing in a complete revitalization, including a new kitchen and a total makeover, they've expanded their venture to include a colonial villa with a beautiful room available for rent on Airbnb.
Now, proud owners of a flourishing establishment, they recognized the need for a fresh online presence to showcase their multifaceted venue. Beyond the restaurant, their offerings extend to salsa classes, language courses in collaboration with Teacher Maritza Pérez, and room rentals within the stunning colonial villa.
Their vision was to create a comprehensive website catering to diverse services, welcoming a local audience as well as European tourists and other travellers. With ambitions to reach a global audience, the website was crafted in four languages, offering not only details about their business but also travel information about Granada and Nicaragua.
